How the box is built

The body is rigid cardboard, not corrugated. It keeps its shape when erected and protects the bottle during normal handling. The foldable design means the box is die-cut and creased. It can be flattened after production, then re-erected without the creases cracking. We hold foldable boxes to a control tolerance of plus or minus 2 mm on the body. Corners must sit at 90 degrees when the box is up.

The surface is finished with UV texture printing. That process lays down a raised, tactile layer over the printed design. It feels different from standard smooth cardboard. The facing paper is at least 157 g specialty or coated stock, applied over greyboard. The ribbon handle is attached during hand assembly, after the box is formed. That step lets us align the handle with your printed design rather than relying on machine placement.

Bottle fit and carrying

The box is made for a single bottle, but not every bottle is the same shape. We ask for your bottle dimensions or a sample bottle before we finalize the insert. The insert holds the bottle at four points. The neck and shoulder are not left unsupported. Our in-house checks are practical: shake the loaded box for 10 seconds and there should be no movement. Tilt it 45 degrees and the bottle should not slide. Invert it and the bottle should not release. The ribbon handle is for carrying, not for shipping. It will hold the weight of a full bottle, but don't swing or stack the box by the handle.

Will the foldable creases crack after repeated use?

We control foldable boxes to a tolerance of plus or minus 2 mm and check that creases don't crack when the box is erected. The cardboard is rigid but scored to fold cleanly. Opening and closing the box a few times is fine. It's not designed for dozens of assembly cycles.
