How it's built

The outer surface is PU leather laminated to cardboard. That gives you the look of leather without the weight or cost of a solid hide. The hinge points are creased so the box folds flat, but it still stands square when you open it. Corners are cut and folded to 90 degrees when erected.

The clasp is a metal magnetic closure mounted on the front panel. It's positioned so the lid closes flush, not proud. You can keep the PU smooth or add crocodile embossing before the finish goes on. Hot stamping and UV coating are the most common finishing choices here.

Bottle fit and carry

The bottle sits in a formed insert, not loose in the cavity. We cut the insert to your bottle profile, so the neck and shoulder are supported the way they should be. Our control tolerance on the insert is plus or minus 1 mm. Before shipping, we run our in-house checks: shake for 10 seconds and expect no movement, tilt to 45 degrees and expect no slide, invert and expect no release. If the bottle moves, the insert gets recut. You don't have to ask for this; it's part of the process.

Where it fits

This box works for winery gift sets, VIP customer thank-yous, and corporate holiday gifting. It's a good choice when the bottle is the hero and the packaging needs to feel considered, not disposable. A magnetic clasp and PU leather read as premium in person. It's less suited to high-volume shipping where the box will be stacked and dropped repeatedly.
