How the box is built

The base is rigid cardboard, not a folding carton, so the box has enough stiffness that the magnetic flap does not twist the front panel when it closes. The facing paper is a leather-texture stock. The inside can be lined with a different paper or left clean, depending on the look you want.

Because the handle is anchored into the top structure, it carries the weight of two bottles without tearing the paper. The flap uses magnets set into the board. For magnet position, our control tolerance is plus or minus 1 mm, and corners are checked to sit at 90 degrees when the box is erected.

How the bottles sit

Whether that is a Bordeaux, Burgundy, or a custom spirit bottle, the insert is made to your bottle shape. We work to a rule of four contact points on the bottle, with no unsupported neck or shoulder. Before the insert is approved, we run three checks. We shake the loaded box for 10 seconds to confirm no movement, tilt it to 45 degrees to confirm no slide, then invert it to confirm the bottle does not release. If the bottle moves in any of those, the insert is adjusted and the check is repeated. The insert tolerance is plus or minus 1 mm, so the fit stays consistent across a production run.
