Customisation

Almost everything can be customized: the size, cardstock weight, foil color with red gold or bright gold standard, printed pattern, and handle style. Add your logo, a monogram, or a full custom design. Before production we'll send a 3D mockup for approval, and even a physical sample if checking board and foil feel in person matters.

How the bag is made

One sheet of 210g black cardstock starts the bag off, the same board we use across premium paper wine bags for stiffness and a clean foil surface. The cardstock is cut to size, scored for the side and bottom folds, and then foil stamping goes on with red gold or bright gold as standard foil colors.

After the foil is set, the bag is folded and glued into final shape with a reinforced bottom that won't give way when a bottle is dropped in. The rope handles are punched through the top edge and knotted inside to stay secure. The manufacturing process keeps exposed glue and misaligned edges off the finished bag.

Bottle fit and carrying

The standard size is 12 x 9 x 35 cm to fit most 750 ml bottles with a little room up top for tissue or a gift tag. Being cardstock, it keeps shape as the bottle slides in. The bottom is flat, so the bottle stands upright. In our in-house tests, we load the bag with a full bottle and shake it for 10 seconds, and the bottle doesn't move. Tilt it 45 degrees and no sliding, and inverted the handles or seams don't tear. For a taller or wider bottle we can adjust dimensions, but this covers standard Bordeaux and Burgundy.

The foil is hot-stamped onto the cardstock under heat and pressure, which bonds it to the surface. It is designed to withstand normal handling. With reasonable use, the foil stays intact and keeps its shine.

Can I use my own logo instead of the wine bottle and glass pattern?

Yes, custom logos are fully supported. Provide your own artwork and we will use it for the foil stamping or printing. You will receive a mockup for approval before production so the final bag matches your design.
